Where are you located?

I don’t do in-person therapy. All of my services are online.

If you’re in Idaho, we can work together through a secure connection on your computer, iPad, or phone.

What are your work hours?
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 7:15 pm, and Saturdays, 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
How long are your sessions?
Most sessions last 45 minutes, but I also do one-hour sessions upon request.
Where do you take clients from?
I only take clients from inside Idaho since that is where I am licensed to practice.
Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance. I offer these valuable services on a cash-pay basis.
What is your cancellation policy?
Clients who do not notify me more than 24 hours in advance will have to pay half the fee for the missed session.
What kind of clients do you take?
I see adults, couples, and teens.
Do you have experience with LGBTQ issues?
Yes, I have helped many LGBTQ clients reach their goals.
Do you offer therapy to clients with dependency issues?
Absolutely. I’ve helped all sorts of clients overcome various compulsions.
What experience do you have doing couples counseling?
I have taken several trainings in Gottman relationship building, including how to overcome affairs. I’ve gotten great results with the many couples I’ve worked with.
How do I know you will be a good fit for me?
I offer a free 15-minute consultation before we start therapy to ensure we will work well together.
What are your credentials?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Idaho.
What are your strengths as a therapist?

I see the good in all people, am passionate about helping others overcome challenges, and am very insightful in how to solve problems.

I am continually adding to my education and experience, making me qualified to use different techniques to get you the life you want.

How long have you been practicing as a therapist?

I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2013 and doing therapy since 2016.

What do you do in sessions with clients?

We discuss problems and how to change thoughts or behaviors to improve your outcomes. I help you focus on your strengths and use your resources to accomplish your goals. I also help you build confidence, new habits, and a positive mindset.

How long will therapy last?

Although progress is made each session, it usually takes two – three months to make sufficient progress toward reaching your goals.

Some clients stay with me for much longer than that because they enjoy the weekly insight and opportunity to work through specific problems as they arise in their lives.

What if I miss a session?
Because I have set aside time just for you, a no-show fee is charged for any session canceled without prior notice.
What therapy modality do you use?
I use mostly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a theoretical approach and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as needed for some situations, including relationship building, dependency issues, and compulsions.
Dogs or cats?
I have a Yorkie dog named Reggie and four cats that are mostly cuddly and fun. All of them are enjoyable to be with, and I would have a hard time distinguishing which one is most valuable to me.
What is your favorite sport?
I enjoy watching highlights from many sports, but I particularly follow triathlons and running since that is what I have enjoyed as an adult.
What is your favorite food?
I usually eat healthily, but I enjoy going to Pizza Pie Café or Cold Stone Creamery with my family.
What is your favorite kind of vacation?
We like to attend plays and Broadway-style shows, go to water and amusement, and eat foods from various cultures.
What is your favorite kind of movie?
I appreciate many kinds of movies but like Marvel movies the best.
What are your personal goals?

I focus a lot on my profession and family, but I also have fitness, financial, property, spiritual, and personal goals.
